Aleksandra Sarchadjieva appears as Ursula von der Leyen, while Nencho Balabanov plays Donald Trump in the new comedy “Journey to Mars” by Ivo Siromahov.
The theatre stage transforms into a spaceship in which Elon Musk (played by Tihomir Blagoev) has invited the most influential people on the planet for a flight to Mars — Donald Trump (Nencho Balabanov), Ursula von der Leyen (Aleksandra Sarchadjieva), Vladimir Putin (Todor Tanchev), Xi Jinping (Rumen Vangelov), and the world-famous Bulgarian influencer Zlatka (Stilyana Markova).
During the mission, the characters clash in a fierce confrontation and go through a series of trials before reaching the Red Planet. And there, a terrifying encounter with the Alien (Grozdan Daskalov) awaits them.
This whirlwind comedy, directed by Zlatomir Moldovanski, with set design by Daniela Nikolchova and music by Sibin Zlatarev, transforms the stage into a cosmic adventure where ego and human ambition collide far beyond the boundaries of Earth.
