A BRILLIANT ITALIAN COMEDY FULL OF TWISTS AND MISCHIEVOUS FUN!
The beautiful Luisa not only fails to recognize her husband Paolo, but also wonders who this “stranger” is and wants to throw him out of the house. Devastated, the man calls in the specialist Professor Alberto Spinelli for a consultation. However, after meeting the doctor, Luisa addresses him with affectionate words and manners, convinced that he is her husband.
To accommodate the patient, the two men mutually agree to swap roles (and, of course, names), setting off a hilarious carousel of misunderstandings in which Luisa becomes sweeter and more in love with Alberto, while growing increasingly bitter and contemptuous toward Paolo.
During a night filled with confusion, after a passionate exchange of teasing with her “false” husband, Luisa retires to her bedroom and loudly calls for Paolo—but which of the two men should join her in the marital bed?
The next morning, with the help of a not-so-naïve typist, Professor Spinelli believes he has found the “scientific” explanation for Luisa’s amnesia. But a twist of fate shakes his certainty, leaving him speechless—yet full of regrets.
