In a world where reality is measured in likes and followers, where real emotions are replaced by filters and hashtags, the play “FAKE” comes to life on stage.
“FAKE” is a story about people who live in the online space and feed on the attention of others. About all of us who believe our lives only have meaning when they are “seen,” “liked,” and “shared.”
But what lies beneath the gloss of perfect profiles?
What if perfection and image are just a filter?
“FAKE” is a painfully relevant performance about the reality we live in. With a smile and without judgment, it invites us to look behind the social image and offers a different perspective.
The play reminds us to be more self-critical before we hate, and more critical of what we consume. To look inward—and sometimes simply remain in silence. Because life goes on, and the way we live today may one day seem absurd, as everything changes. Not everything that flies can be eaten, and not everything we see is real or honest.
