Aleksandar Gindin is a distinguished pianist. He graduated from the Moscow Conservatory in the class of Professor Mikhail Voskresensky. His musical career spans more than three decades and includes numerous achievements on both the Russian and international stage.

According to unanimous critical acclaim, Aleksandar Gindin is not only a virtuoso pianist, but also a true “seeker–connoisseur” in the world of music, much like an explorer in the “library” of world art.

He is a laureate of prestigious international competitions:
  • 10th International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow, 1994);
  • Queen Elisabeth International Piano Competition in Brussels (1999);
  • Winner of the Cleveland International Piano Competition (USA, 2007);
  • Winner of the Santa Catarina International Piano Competition in Florianópolis, Brazil (2010).


Aleksandar Gindin’s performances are always a journey into a world of emotions and feelings, where every melody becomes a revelation and every piece a treasure under his sensitive touch. His musical style combines the power and brilliance of a virtuoso with a deep understanding of the works, making his performances truly unforgettable.

On September 21, 2015, on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the United Nations, a landmark concert from the “Musicians for Peace” project took place at the United Nations Assembly Hall in Geneva. Under the direction and with the participation of Aleksandar Gindin, five pianists from Russia, Ukraine, Palestine, Israel, and Switzerland performed on four grand pianos.

In 2021, Aleksandar Gindin realized the monographic “Liszt Project,” which includes all works by Franz Liszt for piano and orchestra—twelve pieces in total, six original compositions and six transcriptions of works by other composers.

Throughout his artistic career, Aleksandar Gindin has devoted significant attention to chamber, instrumental, and vocal music.
