The play tackles the timeless theme of corruption and deceit, the shortcuts and tricks people take to achieve social or financial success. Spirituality takes a back seat, while personal gain dominates—and the means to achieve it are often ruthless but justified.
This short sketch of the play’s subject matter reflects an issue deeply present in today’s society. And while it may seem obvious, it can sometimes be unpredictable. Is everything really as it appears? Are we even able to recognize it? People see what they already know—but what lies beyond knowledge?
It is precisely the mystery lurking around the corner and the intrigue surrounding it that form the foundation of this performance.
