LOVE SPIN

“Lovertigo” is a self-ironic comedic drama about the fear of love and the chaos we create in our own lives. Inspired by the relay-like structure of its action, the title intertwines love and vertigo — that emotional dizziness we all fall into from time to time.

The play asks painfully honest questions:

What do we inflict upon ourselves?
Why do we keep love away from our hearts?
What is the price of our own foolishness?
And why are we so often afraid of happiness itself?

“Lovertigo” is a story about people who run away from the possibility of being happy because they know how brief and fragile that moment can be.

Humor, self-irony, and emotional collisions intertwine in a performance that reminds us how difficult it is to allow ourselves to love — and how deeply human that is.

Director Deyan Donkov presents a stage interpretation inspired by La Ronde by Arthur Schnitzler and The Blue Room by David Hare.
