“Psycho” is a whirlwind, absurd and mercilessly funny comedy of misunderstandings, set in a psychiatric clinic. Dr. Prentice is looking for a new secretary, but what seems like a routine job interview quickly turns into an avalanche of confused identities, undressing and re-dressing, unexpected inspections, and situations teetering on the edge of scandal. In a world where “normality” is relative, the line between doctor and patient begins to blur dangerously.Playwright Joe Orton remains in history as one of the most radical and controversial British dramatists, whose comedies attack hypocrisy, authority, and moral clichés with sharp wit and ruthless irony. Although his life ended tragically, his work continues to captivate stages around the world.
