A burglary in broad daylight, unbearably loud and quarrelsome neighbors, and the constant noise of Manhattan streets — these are just some of the challenges the Edison family must endure.
Mel and Edna are a middle-aged couple whose lives are beginning to fall apart. Krastyo Lafazanov takes on the role of Mel Edison, a man who has just lost his job after 22 years of loyal service and now has to face unemployment. Meanwhile, his wife Edna becomes the sole provider for the family.
Inside the Edison family apartment on Second Avenue in the prestigious Manhattan district of New York, nothing is as it seems — and no one is who they appear to be.
Outside, it is a hot July night, while inside it feels like minus ten degrees because the air conditioner barely works properly. The walls are supposedly thick, yet the noise from the mischievous neighbors next door never stops. Even on the fourteenth floor, the subway sounds louder than when you are actually riding it.
But things change, and so do people.
Is it because the apartment was robbed, or because the Edisons unexpectedly switch their social roles?
