“THE UNKNOWN BULGARIANS” is the latest large-scale and inspiring production by Ensemble “Bulgare” - a natural continuation of the highly successful performances “This Is Bulgaria” and “The Eighth Wonder,” and an impressive finale to the trilogy dedicated to the Bulgarian spirit, traditions, and enduring identity.
After years of telling stories about the glory, strength, and wonders of Bulgaria, the ensemble now turns the spotlight toward those corners of the homeland that rarely take center stage. “THE UNKNOWN BULGARIANS” takes audiences to lesser-known ethnographic regions, where tradition lives on in its purest rhythm - in song, in the steps of the dance, in the vibrant colors of traditional costumes, and in the rich звучен dialect.
The audience will experience:
authentic folklore music with distinctive regional sound
